Asparagus: The vegetables that announce the arrival of summer

What’s currently growing in our fields?
As we kick off harvesting season in Quebec, the long awaited first arrivals are now available at IGA! Among early spring arrivals: delicious local asparagus, which are now lining our shelves.
For everything you need to know about this much-loved veggie, come check out the asparagus fields of Les Cultures de Chez Nous farms, a family business located in Sainte- Brigitte-des-Saults. Producer Jean-Martin Fortier takes advantage of this tour to speak with the producer behind this popular veggie and learn more about its culture and seasonal harvest.
From the farm to the table, IGA is proud to bring you the tastiest asparagus. But hurry! This exceptional local product will only be in season until the end of June!
