After creating Squizz Distributions in 2017, Christian and Isabelle Rancourt and Nancy Boucher first wanted to bring some joy to the citizens in their home region of Abitibi-Témiscamingue. The excitement for their gelato, old-fashioned ice cream and other sorbets, plus their acquisition of an uncle’s sandwich production company, helped the trio shine. That’s how their line of ice cream pies, including this decadent chocolate version, came to life.
